I find real estate in the Berkshires fascinating because of the range of possibilities and the amazing housing choices of style and location.! Let me assure you that my first goal is to find the RIGHT HOUSE for you or to sell your beloved home. I have a strong and successful background of being able to negotiate for the best price for you.. And, feel reassured, I will help you every step of the way with the paperwork, making sure all the deadlines are met, and that the attorneys and other parties receive information in a timely manner. I will be with you for the inspection, and make sure the earnest money and deposit checks are handled properly. I will be able to show you comparative market analysis research for both the pricing and the acceptance of offers on your home.
I grew up on the East coast, and have lived in the Berkshires for the past six years. My previous professional life has been in music and the performing arts, on the university level of arts education and arts management and international music festivals in Italy and Ukraine. In North Carolina, I created several arts projects including an arts curriculum for the transitional classroom for homeless children. I have created and produced many arts programs for inner city schools and got them funded. I was the founder and producer of the American Rounds of the International Horowitz Piano Competition, and a member of the original Committee that created the Horowitz in Kiev, Ukraine. I have served as a member of the Jury of the Ibla Grand Prix Piano Competition and the Bellini Vocal Competition in Ragusa, Italy.
As a Rotarian, both in Cincinnati and in New England, I have been involved in international humanitarian projects, such the collection of medical and school supplies for physicians and schools in Asia, Urkaine and Latin America, the orientation weekend for new international students, and the local Literacy project that provides dictionaries to every child in the 4th grade in Pittsfield and Richmond. As President of the Pittsfield Cultural Council, I assist in the grant making process of local arts and science projects, and present the Eye to Ear lecture series at the Berkshire Museum.
As a member of BNI (Business Network International) I have served on the Membership and Special Events Committees, working on a fund raising project for a high school Young Business professionals of America scholarship fund.
As President of Sister Cities of Greater Cincinnati, I brought trade, cultural and educational exchanges to Germany, France, The People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Korea, Italy, and Urkaine.
I have a home in Pittsfield and enjoy the cultural and rural life of the Berkshires. While technically I am a lyric soprano, I can work with you no matter what voice range you have, even if you are a tenor! Well, …possibly if you are a tenor. I am active in the Berkshire Book Club and rejoice in the mischief of my wonderful dog – a Wheaton named Macduff. I love to swim and sail, and dig in my garden. I’ve sung in local shows including the BMC Follies, which raised money for the Critical Care Unit at the hospital.
I get a great deal of satisfaction finding the perfect home for the people I work with. It is a joy and a privilege.
